Week 7: Pics!

Can't believe Olivia Jane is 7 weeks old!  Her head control is getting so good, she's smiling more, and she's "talking" to us more every day too.  She deals with tummy time for a bit, but she's not yet a huge fan of that.  She doesn't have too many problems these days -- sleeps good, eats good, doesn't deal with many gassy issues -- She's just a really good baby, to be honest :)

Week 6: First Smiles!

We went to visit my family for the weekend so that Olivia could meet some very important family members she hadn't yet met before.  While there, Uncle Dave came over to my mom's and while he was holding her, she had her first smiles!  Not one, not two, but more than probably 5 or 6 times, she smiled up at him while he talked to her.  It was the sweetest thing ever!!  We got it on video, of course, and then I took some pics of her after we got home and got her smiling at us all :)  She's even starting to coo at us, not a whole lot, just just enough to hear that sweet little voice!

Week 5: Can't believe she's been here a month!

Olivia had her 1 month "birthday" on the 2nd this week.  Can't believe she's been here a month already!  Love, love, love her!

Week 4: Cowboy hats & first baths

Since Olivia had a bit of trouble with her umbilical cord healing slowly, we were unable to give her a real bath until this week!  So she was able to be tossed in the baby tub and pampered by all of us (yes, we were all in the bathroom for this fun event)  :)  Macy was very excited to pull up her stool and watch and she even helped wash Olivia's little hands too.  Can't say "Weeva" was a fan of the bath -- I think she'd rather be dressed and cuddled, but the head washing she always enjoys, and once we got her out and in her pj's, she was good to go again :)  Can't believe our baby girl is almost a month old already!!
